Eliminating disruptive behavior in hospitals!

Phase I - Facilitation

         We will help you create medical & hospital code of conduct policies, define disruptive behavior, determine consequences for those who do not following policies, create system of accountability, institute tracking forms for data collection, establish baseline of current situation and make other system-wide changes that are required to make an organizational shift to "zero tolerance".  We facilitate meetings with your in-house committees to put the "foundational elements" in place prior to training.

 

       In this phase we also begin to coach physicians, residents, & staff who wish to improve their behavior.

 

Phase II - Training & Coaching

Once "foundational elements" are in place we train staff, physicians, residents, and administration in the program "Taking a Stand".  We continue to coach, consult and meet with physicians, residents, staff, committees and administration.

         Strong, collaborative, and respectful relationships between healthcare providers positively impacts the quality of care and are leading satisfiers for health care workers.  However, most people have encountered disruptive behaviors that are personal, irrelevant or go beyond the bounds of fair, professional conduct.  Learn skills to give powerful, effective feedback directly to people either one-to-one or in a group setting.  Understand the dynamics of any conflict and how to "Take a Stand" in any conflict situation.

         "Advanced Taking  a Stand" - for managers and administrators who will sustain the cultural shift.

 

 

Phase III - Sustaining a Zero Tolerance Culture

        

         Manager/Administration Training:

       Advanced "Taking A Stand" program to managers and administrators who will be responsible for sustaining the culture.

 

         Train the Trainer:

       Effectively train & certify in-house personnel to teach the program "Taking A Stand”.

 

         Additional services:

Coaching disruptive personnel, consulting services, other training programs, meeting/retreat facilitation and speaking
